I’ll be celebrating my first Samhain as a Wiccan tonight. I’m going to complete the initiation ritual fora First Degree witch… It’s ben a year and a day for a while, so I could have done it before, but it seems that since my beginning was so close, I should do it tonight.

I just feel like I don’t belong here. It’s kind of scary in a way- all of the people I’ve met are really very nice… but it doesn’t mean anything, there’s a malice underneath it all, I think. I’m sure that I sound paranoid, but I’d rather be pretty much anywhere rather than the South.
Been in the car since 6am this morning. Heading to Texas. 76*.
Can it get worse? Nevermind, don’t answer that. I’m still in said car, using another laptop with Sprint PCS Vision EVDO as an internet access point. The speed is auctually quite tolerable, although I’m the only one using it right now. I’d just shove the card in this one but it doesn’t have the drivers, and I’d just use that one but eventually the person it auctually belongs to will want to use it as well. I had to pretty much hack the firewall in order for it to allow both outgoing and incoming connections over the AD-HOC 802.11B internet sharing connection, it really, really did not want to for some reason. Peice of shit. At least it was the pro version of said firewall, that gave me a lot more control over what it was doing. Would have just shut off the firewall, but there’s this asshole in the other lane that has a laptop and I’m not so sure that that intrusion attempt a while back wasn’t him. Lady, I hate Texas.
Well, this really sucks.
My uncle has been sick for a while, after having a stroke. This morning he died. Thus, I’m going to be heading to Texas in order to attend the funeral with my mother. I, personally, am not all that depressed- I barely knew him and it still seems kind of distant. Then again, it always does seem distant.
Well, hope y’all have a better week than I’ll be having. I hate funerals, and I’ve been to too many the past few years.
Just came back from taking some photos. The first photo is… well, a slanting peice of wood. It caught my eve, and I decided to take it because I liked the angle and the texture of it. The second photo is ‘Three Dwarfs’. It’s not obvious in this photo, but they are auctually surrounded by a ton of really huge boulders, and then there are just these three little ones out there in the middle of no-where.

Well, this certainly is turning out to be an interesting FireFox mod. I’m browsing, and typing, on the new Flock software right now. It’s currently in a very, very pre-beta stage. Alpha type pre-beta stage, but it seems do be pretty good. It’s influenced on sociality in the metaverse, and as far as I can tell is doing that rather well.
