Back into the Fray

I’m reinstalling Until Uru as I write this. I guess that I really couldn’t stay out for long, but honestly, I didn’t intend to stay out even this long! The reason I went on a sabbatical from the game was becuase I was reparing for a Diablo 2 & F.E.A.R. tournament at my school. Problem was, I didn’t reinstall it right after that.  My UU guide was, to say the least, a bit miffed that I missed him in the St Patricks Day Parade.

As I read back over this blog, I realize that I’ve never really even talked and UU…. Woops.

The LifeDrive dies. T_T

Well, less that 6 hours after I write that review about my lifedrive? It dies. Dammit! I'm hoping to return it tommorow if it doesn't magically recover. This is much less than good. I originally posted about this on the 1SRC forums, hoping that they may be able to provide some ideas…. Although, I expect that I'll be appreciating Staple's great return policy again.

New Palm & A Loom

Woohoo! Two good things happened this past weekend, as well as a ton of really hectic work and almost no time to myself.

Last Friday, I went over and finished weaving off my first project on my 60" Leclerc Nilart Jack-type Floor-loom. Yah, that's a mouthful. The project is about 2 yards long by 12" wide, and it really is just a sampler of what I can do on the loom. It was warped up with Cotton rug-warp (tan) in a balanced twill headling, with floating selvages. The pattern, on the other hand, varied with the weft, which is to say, every 2-6 inches. Lots of fun. I brought the loom home on Sunday.

Other good news: I have finally gotten a new Palm. I bought a Palm Lifedrive from Staples for jsut about $350 USD- a really good deal considering that two weeks ago they were $449 USD. Today I've ordered an Active Case and Cleartouch screen protector from BoxWave.
